We've recently had some reports of individuals claiming to be window cleaners from B3Living knocking on customers doors. We wanted to offer our customers a bit of guidance on how to catch out someone who is not who they say they are.
First of all...
- Don't panic. We're aware of the issue and we're working with customers to raise awareness.
- We only clean windows that are a part of a communal area - this doesn't include houses or windows that are part of a flat.
- Any services we usually offer are covered in your service charge, we would never ask for unexpected payments on the spot.
- We'll always make you aware of any charges that fall outside of your service charge by writing to you.
So, how can you tell if it's genuine?
You'll usually see our team members driving around in the branded B3Living van's (they're hard to miss), and they'll always carry ID on them. We sometimes employ contractors to carry out work on our behalf, but we'll usually try to make you aware of this so you know what to expect.
