Wednesday, 02 August 2023

Last year was a scorcher – but this year can’t seem to decide!

It we might be in for a soggy end to the holidays. But just in case we get that Indian Summer, you’ll want your home to be a cool retreat when you’ve had enough sun.

Overheating can also be a bigger risk for young children, grandparents or any loved ones with medical conditions.

So, it’s worth knowing how to keep the heat down inside your home.

Our 1 x cool hack for this summer is…

Extractor fans

These unlikely allies will pull hot air out of your room, just like they pull out steam and moisture.

So, try opening your internal doors and turn your cooker hood, kitchen or bathroom extractor fans on.

They also use relatively little power to run.
