We celebrated our 20th anniversary with our partners
We marked our 20th anniversary over a breakfast event in Broxbourne, attended by more than 60 community partners, including councillors, charities and contractors from across Hertfordshire, Essex and beyond.
Founded in 2006 following a stock transfer from Broxbourne Council, B3Living was set up to improve housing for local people. Over the past two decades, we've invested significantly in modernising homes, improving bills through home energy efficiency and providing long‑term rent stability for households on lower incomes.
These efforts have supported thousands with their housing needs as well as the wider wellbeing and resilience of the community.
Twenty years on, B3Living has grown by more than 2,500 homes and we continue to support families to maintain a secure home, working in partnership with local councils, charities and contractors.

Our organisation has grown a lot over the past 20 years, but our purpose remains the same: to make a sustainable, positive difference to housing provision for local people.
Thanks to our longstanding partnerships with community organisations and, most importantly, our customers, we’ve been able to create neighbourhoods where people feel a sense of belonging.
We are thrilled with the impact we’ve made together. The work we do extends beyond bricks and mortar and our commitment to it remains unchanged as we look ahead to the next 20 years.
Over the years, we've developed our own housing to meet local demand.
In the last five years, we've completed and started building almost 600 homes in Broxbourne alone. We're fast approaching the delivery of our 6,000th home, a significant milestone that reflects the scale of housing need in the region.
We're also proud to report that our resident satisfaction scores are among the highest in the country and we've been awarded top regulatory grades from the Regulator of Social Housing.
As we celebrate our 20th anniversary at B3Living, we remain firmly focused on the future: continuing to deliver high‑quality, genuinely affordable homes, putting customers first and working in partnership to create better outcomes for communities.
