Our office (Scania House) on Hoddesdon High Street served us well for nearly 20 years. But now we have to find a new home.
Why we're moving
Our current office is its time and doesn’t meet modern building standards anymore.
Unfortunately, it would cost millions to stay. Money better spent on customers' homes or in the community. Plus, we’d need to find - and fund - a temporary home while we did renovations.
We explored it, but the best option was to move permanently.
We've been looking for a new space for a while.
As a local business, staying close to our community was crucial. But viable options are rare. So we've focused on:
- Setting up community hubs.
- Coming out to visit our estates more.
- Finding a new office space locally.
Where we're going
We're lucky to have found a new office that allows us to stay in the borough.
It's at Turnford Place.
It's near the big Tesco in Turnford/Cheshunt - Brookfield - just off the A10.
Although the old office would’ve been more convenient for some customers, Turnford Place is the best opportunity that keeps us local. Plus it's in walking distance of more than 600 of our customers.
When is this happening?
Our last day at Scania House will be Thurs 24 Oct 2025.
There will be a short transition period while we move (Fri 24 - Fri 31 Oct). All our services will be running, but some things might be slower and we might not have access to all our usual equipment.
From Mon 3 Nov, you can visit us at Turnford Place.
Our address might be changing, but we're still here. None of our services are changing and we'll still be working to support our customers and community.
If you have more questions, we've created a resource hub for all the FAQs.

- Building
- Cleaning and caretaking
- Grass cutting and grounds maintenance
- Communal repairs
- Fire safety hazards (ie possessions and rubbish left in communal areas)
- External decorations
Your Neighbourhood Officer will text when they're coming out to your estate.
