We're recruiting!

We know our services work best when customers help shape them and hold us to account.

Following a successful first year for our Customer Advisory Panel, members have done just that - driving real changes in how we work, including the way we run our repairs service.

Now we want to build on that success.

We’re inviting more customers to get involved through our Customer Advisory Panel, or through a new opportunity to join our Operations Committee and work alongside our Board. Both roles help influence how our homes and services are delivered - with full details available below.

The Board sets B3Living’s overall direction and makes sure things are run properly.

Committees are smaller groups that zoom in on specific areas.

An Independent Committee Member will sit alongside our Board to help shape the bigger picture. You’ll need to speak up, ask questions and share your views on how we’re doing and on future plans. This role will involve looking at detailed reports and strategic thinking. You will receive training, an induction and ongoing support.

The Customer Advisory Panel is a group of our customers. They come together to talk about the work we’ve already done, how we can improve and will hold us to account. As a panel, you’ll choose specific service areas to talk about and look at, and influence improvements.

Both roles are great experience for your CV and career development.

You can still apply. Panel members are expected to attend all training and meetings of the Panel, but we know life can get in the way and it might not always be possible.

You’ll be made aware of any meeting/event dates well in advance, but we’re able to make reasonable adjustments if needed.

All we ask is that you let us know and send you apologies in advance if you’re unexpectedly unable to attend.


 

Operations Committee

Work alongside members of our Board as part of our Operations Committee. We’re keen for 2 x customers to join us.

Being part of the Committee is about shaping the bigger picture. You’ll look at how our services are running, the safety of our homes and other key topics affecting all customers.

What's involved?

  • Four meetings a year (in person, Turnford / via MS Teams)
  • Reviewing reports and documents
  • Occasional workshops and in-depth service review sessions (plus adhoc training sessions)
  • Influence everyday experiences for people in your community

Customer Advisory Panel

Our Customer Advisory Panel is a group of customers, working together to look at how we’re doing and where we can improve.

We're now welcoming new members to join a diverse group of people, who hold us to account, bring fresh ideas, and help us make positive changes.

What's involved?

  • Four meetings a year (in person,
