In the past, we owned 40 garages on Barrow Lane in Cheshunt. After significant problems with crime and fly-tipping, we decided to knock these garages down.
We wanted this space to contribute to the community and create a more pleasant environment for our neighbours.
We therefore constructed 6 homes for Affordable Rent on this land to make it more secure, attractive and in-keeping with the surrounding area.
Thank you to everyone who gave us feedback during the public consultation in August 2022. We made changes to the designs based on comments by the neighbours.
