C1, G1, V1 grades for B3Living!

We've been announced as the latest among the few organisations in the country to have been awarded the top gradings by the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH).

Following a first-time inspection carried out in the summer, the Regulator issued us a C1 grade – the highest against the consumer standards.

We also retained our G1 rating for governance and V1 for viability placing us among the best in the sector for our overall performance and service delivery.

The Regulator found clear evidence that we are meeting all four of the consumer standards: Neighbourhood and Community Standard, Safety and Quality Standard, Tenancy Standard, and the Transparency, Influence and Accountability Standard.

Key findings of the judgement included that:

  • B3Living’s approach to repairs is informed by the needs of its residents which allows for tailoring of services
  • A recent focus on antisocial behaviour (ASB) case handling and its resulting changes have improved tenant satisfaction
  • Recent investment into complaints handling improved the service for residents
  • A recently established Customer Advisory Panel will strengthen scrutiny of services and resident influence on the board’s decision making.

Commenting on the regulatory results, B3Living’s newly appointed Chair of the Board, Andy Walder said:

“I feel privileged to have joined B3Living at such a key stage with my colleagues having just received top-tier regulatory gradings in each area.

"Our new C1 rating is particularly important to us as delivering excellent customer experiences is core to our strategy and wider purpose. Achieving this rating is a testament to the efforts our teams make every day to consistently put our residents at the heart of everything we do.

“We are also absolutely delighted to have maintained our G1 and V1 ratings. It means we can celebrate being in a strong position to continue to deliver build better futures for the people and communities we serve in the years to come.”
