Pride at B3Living

Pride at B3Living

Tuesday, 30 June 2026

June marks LGBTQ+ Pride Month.

At B3Living, we believe it’s important to raise awareness and support our LGBTQ+ colleagues and customers.

We’re proud to have signed the LGBTQ+ Housing Pledge and achieved Pledge Pioneer Status, demonstrating our commitment to safe, inclusive homes and services. This means embedding LGBTQ+ inclusion into our everyday actions and culture.

Pride Month celebrates progress but also reminds us there’s more to do.

What have we done at B3Living?

In partnership with Stonewall Housing, we delivered training sessions to build understanding and support inclusive practice.

A session was delivered to our Independent Living team, covering LGBTQ+ history, lived experiences, and practical ways to support residents.

Keiley, Independent Living Team Leader, said:

The session gave a great opportunity for the team to discuss relevant scenarios and issues arising within schemes.
We spoke about differing generational views and approaches, the impact of peer “banter” and how these impact on someone feeling safe / comfortable or not, and how the team challenge this to ensure a clear message regarding where we stand individually, and as representatives of B3Living.

Office-based colleagues attended a session exploring the impact of homophobia, bi-phobia and transphobia, alongside practical steps to improve inclusion.

Michelle, Project Manager, said:

It was a good session and a reminder of the challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community.
I was particularly interested in the discussion around language and data collection given our recent work around the providing our customers with a personalised and inclusive service.

We also celebrated together with a Pride-themed ‘Bring a Dish’ event at our office. We encouraged our colleagues to bring in colourful food and outfits and spend some time together eating and wearing the rainbow.

We hope everyone who celebrates had a happy Pride Month 🌈
