B3Living, the leading provider of affordable housing in the Broxbourne area, is planning to relocate its head office by 2021 to another location within the borough.
Currently, B3Living owns two sites, Scania House at 17 Amwell Street and 19 Amwell Street, Hoddesdon, EN11 8TS, basing its head office on the Scania House site.
McCarthy and Stone – the UK’s leading developer and manager of retirement communities - is in the early stages of working up proposals for the sites’ redevelopment and they have put forward plans for retirement accommodation, inviting local residents to have their say on the proposals.
Claire Howe, Executive Director of Corporate Services at B3Living said:
“The proceeds of the sale would allow us to release money, putting it back into providing much needed affordable housing for the Broxbourne area. McCarthy and Stone’s proposals will make good use of the sites, providing people with suitable accommodation to support independent living.”
B3Living has started the search for new premises, looking for a new office in the Broxbourne area that will best meet the needs of its residents and staff.
Residents who have any questions about the proposals can call McCarthy and Stone’s freephone information line on 0800 298 7040.
