Preparing for the November lockdown

We would like to reassure our customers that we are available if you need support during the lockdown that begins on Thursday 5th November. We would encourage anyone going through tough times to stay in touch as we can help you to access a range of support.

Although our office will be closed, we plan to continue delivering repairs, maintenance and housing support, considering all the latest COVID safety advice.

What this means:

  • If you have an appointment booked, we are planning to keep it.
  • If you’re buying a home, exchanging or due to move in, this will be going ahead.
  • You can report a repair during November.
  • If you need to contact us, please call, email or use our app rather than visiting. You can use our post box to drop things off.
  • We will still visit your block to clean, but our staff will visit earlier to reduce contact and will wear masks.

 

Our office on the High Street in Hoddesdon will be closed except for urgent, pre-booked appointments in line with the Government’s advice to close non-essential shops and work from home if you can.

But since the first lockdown in March, we have put several health and safety precautions in place to keep you and our staff safe, and we have checked our risk assessments against the latest government advice.

There may be challenges during the time, so please bear with us if we can’t respond as quickly as usual. You can also help us by remembering social distancing when our staff visit your home or block.
